Almost twenty years into the 21st century, most rivers and lakes have been explored by fishermen around the world. In their constant search of new fly fishing waters, Andy Manstein and Eduardo Barrueto from the Magic Waters Patagonia Lodge found a way to access the remote valley of the Rio Blanco, one of Patagonias last unexplored rivers. Hidden between glaciers and forest, this river meanders ...

Everytime I think I'm getting good I come back to this to knock me down a peg or two.
Wow! Poetry!
Derek Grzelewski broad me here 😅
So elegant… Stunning!
да так себе...
The conflict between Kosovo and Serbia is a lie from beginning to end. There was no ethnic cleansing. This is a myth that was spread by the Western media at the request of the authorities. Moreover, NATO supported outright criminals and terrorists, whose main business was drug trafficking and trafficking in human organs (Serbian).
If you're searching for the perfect loop have a look at the film a river runs through it at the start of the movie there are some amazing fishing scenes namely casting the perfect loop with Brad Pitt they are truly stunning..
BEEN WATCHING THIS VIDEO MULTIPLE TIMES A YEAR FOR 12+ YEARS... ... and it's still the MOST BEAUTIFUL, MOST GRACEFUL, MOST "ARTISTIC" FLY CASTING VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN. An advertisement.......nothing more , nothing less.
I agree that it's pushing "loop" down our throats but atleast it's well arranged. Good music, cinematography, no talking etc. Just lots of beautiful casts with great scenery and well placed soundtrack. I find it inspiring
Nothing more…? You are mearly covering your jealousy…!
Guess I am the only asshole that sees a bunch of tails in the leader... esp the cast at 1:14.
Was there in 2019. Just an epic 12 days. Great times and great friends.
Think he found it
Love the Music and the setup in this film🤙🏼 Do you know about the copyright of the track? I will like to use it in one of my videos🇩🇰
Hola, I just saw this. It is all true. My wife and I spent the best 12 days with Eduardo and his family. The food was amazing. The wood fired hot tub showed me the Southern Cross. Monte & Jose were amazing guides. The hose back fishing day greeted us with fish and a steak loin campfire lunch with wine. Oh, and I caught over 50 fish, browns and bows, on streamers and dry flys.
not to say....you're the best chris and thanks for your fly lessons ! ...céline and vince
Great setup👍🏼 Like it! Do you know about copyrights at this great song?
I wonder if he wears Loop underpands? Nevertheless, this is a masterpiece as the boy exercises the cast's.
WOW!!!!!!!
Great moovie ! Did you end your studies yet ? I've seen no more moovie since one year ! And i'm in need of, just after discovering your videos ! Anyway, congratulations for your superb work .... Aj, just another question, are you the fishermen i've seen in one of your videos? Fario
Hello, following the invitation of a friend to watch the trailer of Blue Heart about the hydroelectric barges. I discover your channel Your pictures are some of the most beautiful I have seen on Fishing videos! and the perfect editing magnifies them I share on our channel wishing that many people come to watch this one and discover the others, like i did
Do anybody knows if that’s a salmon ?
I only saw trout in the video but i may have missed something. There are certainly salmon in the area.
Not impressed
Your jealousy is showing….!

Hermoso video, igual que la Patagonia Chilena!!!!
I just subscribed, hell yes. I noticed you bring your anchor point further to the rear than I do when you're doing the roll cast. Incredible video.
Well it's a spey tho not really a roll cast

this video is soo epic, I literly love every second of it. I can't understand why your videos has that less views!? what camera do you use for your shots? surface and underwater?
Crazy good! I'd take lessons from this guy anytime! Just beautiful technique.
Epic music! Kudos to Tony Anderson.
Most Beautiful fly fishing short I've ever seen.

What camera is this filmed with??
Great video...
Thanks Rob! It was shot on a Canon C100 Mark II
I wish I had half his casting talent!
How's it coming along? Your comment was 5 Years ago I assume you've made drastic improvements:)
awesome
That would have scared them off.
great casting chris enjoyed this film cant wait to fish
Are you going to fish or just keep casting???
Christopher, curious, how do you achieve that consistent "pointed loop" on all your casts?? thanks Jim
Hello Jim, the "pointiness" and tightness of Christopher's loops are exaggerated by the viewer's perspective. Note how he casts with his rod canted outward at roughly 45 degrees from his body. When filmed/viewed from the side, the loops appear narrower because the line is actually unfurling at an angle to the viewer - i.e. the loop is not unfurling with the top half directly above the bottom. It is, in fact, a lopsided loop. Don't get me wrong - his casting is excellent. However, the side-on angle of some of the filming distorts things.
Hello Jon, I wasn't "high" when I wrote that, and I'm sure you'll agree there's no need to be insulting, regardless of how much you might disagree with my comment. Let me put the crux of my argument another way: If I am standing on the bank opposite Christoper, watching him while he casts up and down the river, and he proceeds to cast with his rod canted at roughly 45 degress to his body, and the loops he creates proceed to unfurl at roughly 45 degrees to his body, the loops (viewed side-on) will appear narrower to me than if I was to observe them from either behind or in front of Christopher as he casts. This is a fact, and it relates to distance, perspective and depth perception (i.e. how we observe a three-dimensional world). Do not misunderstand me; I am not trying to diminish Chrstopher's obvious exemplorary abilities as a fly caster. I am merely trying to account for why his loops appear so impossibly narrow (or "tight") in much of the video. It is due to the camera's perspective.
Average loops, no problem.......true, but also his line is so smooth and free of humps and waveyness......he does not shock the line!
@Average Loops glad someone realizes this. His casting is obviously impeccable but the angle of the rod with a side view is what makes it look like that.
Yea that is true about the appearance of "tightness" of the loop! As you correctly pointed out as a result of the 45° angle of the rod Stroke!.......but how do you achieve the "needle point" as it unrolls......?? Searching for the explanation.....!! Appreciate anyone's input..!
👀+🎣4🌿!
is he casting to the side?
Das auch mein Wurfstiel, ohne langes rumgewedel.
your loop sucks!!!
Two billy goats walked across your bridge while you typed that.
+Dragon-Wolf 😂😂
Curious, are you using a double taper or weight forward ? I ask because I wish to understand if either choice has an advantage in terms of smooth " hump or wave free" unrolling of the line? Your smooth, straight unfolding pointed line is so beautiful! thanks just jim
